Airshow, etc

Well, yesterday I had a lot of fun! :) I went to an airshow with a guy named Levi and his family. Now many of you don't know all don't know him. But he's a really nice guy that I met. So anyways...we had a lot of fun just walking around and talking. We'll see what becomes of it, but he seemed to want to do something again sometime. He's supposed to call. Or, I'm supposed to call if I'm ever in Crawfordsville (he lives a little outside of Crawfordsville). So yeah, I had a lot of fun and if you want to know more...then call or text me or something b/c I'm not going to put every little detail on here. :) As far as the rest of my life...I'm keeping very busy with college. It's not hard though. I must have gotten a really good high school education b/c all of this stuff seems really easy to me. I need to go do some of my homework now and then clean my room and do some laundry and stuff b/c I was gone and busy on Friday and Saturday and now it's time to get back to reality and get some work done! Get 'R Done! lol. I hope everyone is having a wonderful school year and a great week! Oh yeah, and Levi likes country music! He doesn't make fun of me for listening to it. :) haha.

Love ya all!

Free time? What's that?

I haven't posted on here in a really long time. To keep you updated...I started school at Ivy Tech on the 22nd. I'm there on Tuesdays and Thursday. My first class is Speech (COM. 101), then I have English(ENG. 111), Math(MAT 131), and Chemistry(CHEM. 101). My Chemistry is way too easy. I learned all that I'm doing now my junior year of high school. But hey, I guess it's a good refresher course, lol. My math isn't hard, but the teacher doesn't really teach us anything. He thinks he is, and has the best of intentions, but at least I don't get anything out of it. Neither do the two people that sit on either side of me, lol. My english is hard, but then again, I hate english in general so that's not a big surprise! :) I'm horrible at those indepth kind of questions. That is basically all we've been doing lately. My speech class is actually, surprisingly, my favorite class so far. I like my teacher for the most part (I know exactly what he expects and he is very straightforward, however, he isn't unfriendly.) The people I have run into are interesting, but it's what I expected so I'm not too surprised. I see Becky every now and then and I also see Jacob and sometimes Abe and Savanah. I have also run into Brittiany too. I know several other people that I have met from having class with them. I have a lot of homework, which is usually given over Tuesday-Wednesday when I have class on Thursday. Now why do they assign the most work over the least amount of time? lol. Why not assign the most work over the weekend when there is the most time? How silly. I just finished my English assignment that was quite large and I already did most of my math and chemistry. I cleaned my room (well, picked it up...) and now I am debating what to do with my little bit of free time. I haven't had free time since school started and I don't know what to do with it! haha. Maybe I should study for my math since the rumor was that we're having a quiz over the homework tomorrow since he doesn't collect any of our homework. I hope everyone has a great week and I'll talk to ya lata! No class on Tuesday b/c of Labor Day!!!! What a great big weekend!!! :D

All the Days - FM Static

This is the last day of our freshmen summer
text books n essays wait around the corner
saying goodbye now to our best friends
we'll try if we can to get home on weekends

I gotta run now
go home and take a shower
we all can meet up
at your house in half an hour
I can't get ready any faster
we better make it, quarter after

Runnin through the high school hallways
this is all we've known untill now.
I don't ever wanna slow down
Packed up, and I'm ready to go now.

Now we'll all meet up and go our own ways
probably won't see each other the same ways
but no matter what happens,
We'll never forget all the times we've had together

Runnin through the high school hallways
this is all we've known untill now.
I don't ever wanna slow down
Packed up, and I'm ready to go now
All the days we've been traveling together
I won't even look over my shoulder
til I find a cure for getting older.

I haven't posted in a while and I thought I'd post since I probably won't be posting much once school starts.

Things have been pretty good lately. I've been re-arranging and trying to re-decorate my room before school starts. I'm finally almost done with the cleaning and re-arranging! It's taken forever it seems. I guess I just have too much junk, lol. That...and I haven't done it all day every day. There have been a few nights where I would sleep on my bed in the middle of the room at an odd angle. :) hehe.

Sunday I'm going to see Hannah in the queen contest. A lot of people are it should be really fun. I don't usually go to the state fair, so that should be fun as well. I guess you could call that my last fun thing before school starts on Tuesday.

Well, I need to go finish my room and then get to bed early...b/c I'm really tired!!!

Over the years...

Ok, so I just read Lillian's xanga...and decided that I thought it was a pretty good idea...only... I think I'll post a few of the times I remember over the past several years...

Wow...the first year I was in co-op, 2001.

Becky and I at co-op, 2004.

Becky and I last year at the VBS program, 2005.

Summer of 2005. This picture cracks me up b/c Lillian and I both have our arms almost the exact same way.

Getting my diploma at my graduation, May 26, 2006.

My brother, me, Hannah, and Ann at the fair, 2006.

The years have just flown by. I have to say, I have enjoyed them for the most part. I had a wonderful time in junior high/high school and I hope that I have a wonderful time in college as well. From looking at these pictures, I can see in so many ways how I have matured and I pray that the Lord will work in me and through me to grow more and more like Him every day. There have been some rough times, but He has helped me through each step of my life that I have taken. I will turn 19 on the 27th of this month. He has been so faithful to me over my 19 years. He has never forsaken me even when I wasn't faithful to Him. I need to give Him thanks and glory. Praise the Lord! :D

A Busy College Student

Well, summer is almost over. It's a fact. There is nothing I can do to stop this from occurring. Freedom will seize to exist as I know it.
I just bought my books and stuff for classes yesterday. My chemistry looks really easy, my math looks about where I should be, my speech looks like a pain, and my english looks like it should be. None of them look overwhelming, which is good. I think I could have gone higher in chemistry, but that would have meant that I would have gone higher in my math and I didn't really want to do that since I will have speech that really isn't my thing and I will need plenty of time to spend on it. Now all I need to do is finish organizing my room and go shopping for some clothes. Other than that, I'm all set to be a busy college student. lol.
Well, I suppose I had better go. We have a guy coming out to hopefully set up high speed internet for us tomorrow. I need to go clean the office. lol. That will be so nice to get high speed internet after having dial up my entire life. I won't have to wait 5 minutes to open up a website! haha.

Love ya all! :)

Summer Fun

Let's see....since the last time I updated...on Thursday, I went to the fair and hung out with Ann and Zach. It rained, but we had fun anyway. On Friday, I went to Indy for Ann's birthday with Hannah, Brittany*, Keltie, Shannon, Lydia, and of course, Ann, lol. We had fun walking around the Fashion Mall and riding the esculators, haha. We went to the Cheesecake Factory and oh man, was it good! On Saturday, I had to go pick up my 4-H project at the fair. Sunday, we were invited over to Sebald's for supper. On Monday, I think I just kinda relaxed and then Ann called and invited me to go to the beach with her on Tuesday. I ended up going and it was fun! I could seriously get into spending some time at the beach! :D Yesterday, I worked on cleaning my room. I'm trying to get it organized and decluttered for when school starts. Today I'm finishing that job, haha. And then I think I'm gonna try and go to Walmart to get some pictures developed.

Until next time...take care!!! :)
